Margot sighed, looking at the dusty old picture frame. "Honestly, Herbert," she said, "this has been sitting here for weeks."

Herbert, sprawled on the sofa with the current issue of 'Snack Food Monthly,' mumbled, "I'll get to it, Marge. Just gotta finish this article on deep-fried Oreos."

Brian walked in, juggling a skateboard and a piece of what looked like material. "Hey, Mom, can I use the garage? I'm building a ramp."

Margot pointed to the picture frame. "Before you start building anything, perhaps you could help your father. This needs to go up on the stage... I mean, the wall!"

Brian groaned. "Ugh, Dad's projects. What even *is* that picture anyway?"

Herbert glanced up briefly. "That, my boy, is a picture of your former football team... Back when I was a star quarterback. Before the injury..."

Margot rolled her eyes. "He twisted his ankle trying to catch a donut, Brian. The material covering the frame is ripped too. Honestly, it's a mess."

Brian sighed. "Fine, I'll help. But after, I'm using the garage."

Later, after they finally hung the picture (slightly crooked), Margot found Herbert back on the sofa. "Herbert!", she exclaimed. "You weren't going to help?"

Herbert shrugged. "Supervising is a job too, Marge. Besides, the current weather is perfect for lounging. I'm a former athlete; my joints ache in this humidity!"
