Herbert sat in his favorite chair. He saw a strange advertisement on TV. It was for a new kind of exercise machine.

"Margot, look at this!" Herbert called.
Margot came into the room. She looked at the TV. "Herbert, you don't need that. You need to move more."

Herbert sighed. "But it looks so easy! And it's made of a special stone. It vibrates!"

Brian walked in, putting his skateboard on his shoulder.
"Vibrating stone? Sounds like Dad's latest crazy idea," Brian said, laughing.

Herbert frowned. "It's not crazy! It's modern! It's a new tradition!"

Margot shook her head. "The only tradition here is you watching TV, Herbert."

Later, Herbert tried to lift a small rock in the garden.
"Maybe the TV was right," he mumbled. "I am out of shape."

Brian skated by. "Maybe try walking to the Corner Shop, Dad."

Herbert looked at the TV again. The advertisement promised easy results. "Maybe just one small stone machine..."

Margot watched him, smiling a little. "Oh, Herbert..."

The next day, a very large box arrived at the Walker house. It was the vibrating stone machine.
