Herbert sat at the kitchen table, reading a magazine. Margot was trying to finish making dinner.

"Herbert, could you help me with something?" Margot asked. "It doesn't contain much work, I promise."

Herbert sighed. "What is it, Margot? I am absorbing knowledge from this article."

Margot rolled her eyes. "I need someone to take the trash out. The manager at the Corner Shop gave us extra bags today."

Herbert looked out the window. "It's raining! Ask Brian. Where is that guy anyway?"

"Brian is at Laura's," Margot replied. "And it's your turn to do the trash."

Herbert grumbled but got up. "Fine, fine. But if I catch a cold, I'm blaming the Corner Shop manager."

Margot smiled. "Thanks, Herbert. And try to learn something from the rain. Maybe it will add to your knowledge."

Herbert mumbled as he walked out the door, "All I contain are complaints about carrying heavy bags. I wish I could just finish this article."

"Oh, that guy!" said Margot to herself.
