Herbert sat in his armchair, a half-eaten donut in his hand. He was watching a show about a prince .

Margot walked in, carrying a bag of wool . "Herbert," she said, "Are you watching that silly show again?"

"It's educational!" Herbert mumbled, around a mouthful of donut. "This prince is learning how to knit!"

Margot raised an eyebrow. "Knit? I thought princes fought dragons and rescued princesses."

"Well, this one prefers wool ," Herbert said. "And he�?Ts making a sweater for his�?� bride ."

Brian walked in, looking cheerful . "Hey Mom, hey Dad! What's up?"

"Your father is watching a prince who likes to knit," Margot explained, shaking her head.

Brian laughed. "Seriously? That's�?� unpleasant . Can we change the channel?"

Herbert sighed dramatically. "It's not unpleasant ! It's�?� different. Besides, his bride will be very happy with a warm wool sweater."

Margot smiled. "You know, that's actually very sweet of him to do such a thing. I think it's cheerful and lovely."
