Herbert sighed, staring at the overflowing bin of rejected donuts at Oakhaven Industries. "This is slavery," he muttered to himself. "Doughnut slavery! Forced to witness such sugary sadness."

Margot, on the phone, overheard. "Herbert! Don't be ridiculous. People are actually suffering. And those 'rejected' donuts are slightly misshapen. Someone has to quality check them."

Herbert perked up. "Quality check, you say? So, I could... compensate for my suffering by, say, taking a box home?"

Margot pinched the bridge of her nose. "Absolutely not. Herbert, we agreed. You're on a diet. Besides, Oakhaven Industries might think that is the resignation of your post for corruption."

Later that evening, Brian watched Herbert pacing the living room, a hand clutched to his stomach.

"Dad, are you okay?"

Herbert groaned. "My gut is telling me something terrible is about to happen. Either I'm coming down with something, or I'm about to invent a new flavour of donut. It's hard to tell where these feelings originate sometimes."

Brian rolled his eyes. "Probably just gas from thinking about donuts all day."

Herbert stopped pacing. "You think so? Maybe I should just? lay down. For scientific purposes, of course."

Margot walked in, holding a yoga mat. "Herbert, yoga. Now. It's either that or I'm donating all your donut-themed paraphernalia to the church bazaar."

Herbert gulped. "Yoga it is! Anything to avoid a donut-themed tragedy."
