Herbert sat at the kitchen table, a pile of bills in front of him. "Margot," he called out, "we need to calculate our expenses. Again."

Margot walked in, holding Molly. "I know, Herbert. But getting upset won't help. Did you remember to pay the water bill?"

"Almost forgot!" Herbert exclaimed, grabbing the bill. "This household is costing us a fortune. We should move into a smaller place."

"Don't even joke about that," Margot replied, gently bouncing Molly. "This house is part of the estate left to us by my aunt. Besides, where would Brian practice skateboarding?"

Later, Brian rushed into the kitchen, looking worried. "Dad, Laura is saying I took her saxophone reeds!"

Herbert sighed. "Here we go again. Laura is going to accuse you of everything she can find."

Laura then walked in. "Brian, give them back! That's theft!" Herbert looked at Margot, raising his eyebrows.

Margot stepped in, "Brian, do you have her reeds?" Brian hesitated, then reluctantly pulled them from his pocket. "I just borrowed them to, uh... to see if they'd work on my kazoo!"

Laura rolled her eyes. "That is the dumbest interpretation I have ever heard!"

Herbert chuckled. "Alright, alright, everyone calm down. Let's just try to get along, eh? Now, about those bills..."
